Funeral Director or Embalmer

Reed Funeral Home was founded in 1946 in Canton, OH with a second location being opened in North Canton, OH in 2005. We are a 3rd generation family owned and operated full-service funeral home servicing nearly 40% of Stark County area deaths.
We are looking to add a funeral director or embalmer to our team. Dual licensees are welcome and preferred. Our staff enjoys full benefits including health, dental, vision, life, 401k, paid continuing education and licensing renewals, paid vacation, sick time, dry cleaning and periodic clothing allowances.
We utilize a set rotational schedule where currently every fourth day you’re on-call, every fourth weekend you are on-call, every other weekend you are off. The director on-call that fourth weekend is given the following Tuesday off.
Funeral directing can be a very stressful and demanding career. A strong dedication to the profession is important along with a good life balance. Long weeks are rewarded with time off and directors are usually only needed to work on their weekend.
