The Program:
This isn’t just about operating a crematory—it’s about empowering families to make informed choices while ensuring your company retains revenue compared to traditional burial.
With our training, you’ll receive a 20-minute PowerPoint presentation and script on cremation, highlighting options beyond direct cremation. Learn from the creators of the presentation (the Imperis) how to deliver this powerful information to your community. Plus, you'll have the flexibility to customize it for your specific market.
As cremation continues to be the fastest-growing segment in funeral service, the real question is: will the families you serve opt for "direct cremation," or will they choose to include a tribute service and memorialization?
The ICCFA Cremation Arranger Training offers intensive, specialized training to equip you with the tools needed to create meaningful cremation arrangements. You'll delve into the history of cremation, relevant laws and regulations, demographic impacts on your marketing and arrangements, and how price perception influences family decisions—all with the goal of helping you provide exceptional service to every family you serve.
In Ohio, only a licensed funeral director is legally permitted to conduct funeral arrangements with families. While completing an Arranger Training or Certification Program is encouraged for educational purposes within the funeral profession, it does not grant legal authority to perform funeral arrangements. For further clarification, see Ohio Revised Code (ORC) 4717 and Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) 4717-1.
