Professional Ethics
This course will teach the elements of ethics and how they have developed over time. The development of ethics will help us understand how professional and personal ethics can be viewed differently depending upon a segment of population. Professional oaths and acting on ethics are important to remember in the workplace. We will discuss how to respond and act when faced with an ethical dilemma. Finally, we will talk about ethical leadership to protect consumers.
- 3 CE, Ethics, approved with the Ohio Department of Insurance
Funding Prearranged Funerals
This course explores planning and paying for funerals in advance. The students will better understand the consumers’ reasons for preplanning. The funeral home and the agent will understand the advantages and disadvantages of advance funeral planning and funding. We will discuss the funding options that are available and which are most suitable to different consumers. States are regulated differently and we will discuss what some of those differences are.
