While Mortuary Student Day is designed with students in mind, students are encouraged to take advantage of everything the OFDA Convention has to offer, including continuing education, networking events, and time on the exhibit floor throughout the convention. Students are invited to kick off the convention by attending the Young Funeral Directors (YFD) Social on Tuesday, April 28, from 7:00-9:00 PM at PBR Cowboy Bar + Smokehouse. This relaxed evening is a great opportunity to connect with fellow students and young funeral directors, start building professional relationships, and ease into the convention with great food, drinks, and conversation.
