Summary Participants will understand how an accidental overdose death affects bereaved family members and will be able to help them navigate the funeral and memorial process. The opioid crisis is at an all time high, especially in Ohio, who leads the nation in opioid deaths. Understanding what these bereaved families are going through will help funeral directors have a more compassionate approach to funeral planning and supporting families.
