Ethical and Responsible Use of Technology in Digital Life and End-of-Life Insurance Planning

In today’s digital-first insurance marketplace, life insurance agents must balance innovation with integrity. This dynamic course equips agents to confidently navigate modern technology, ethical responsibilities, and the unique considerations of end-of-life insurance planning.

Participants will explore how digital tools, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and social media are reshaping the way life insurance is marketed, underwritten, and serviced—and what that means for ethical decision-making and regulatory compliance. Through real-world scenarios, case studies, and current consumer research, agents will gain a practical ethical framework for protecting client privacy, building trust, and maintaining professional standards in an increasingly connected world.

The course also examines how technology is transforming end-of-life insurance planning. Agents will learn how today’s consumers research, evaluate, and purchase coverage digitally; how underwriting and AI-driven solutions affect client interactions; and how to clearly communicate the value and purpose of these products with transparency, compassion, and compliance.

By the end of the course, agents will walk away with actionable strategies to responsibly leverage technology, strengthen client relationships, safeguard sensitive information, and represent themselves—and the insurance profession—with confidence, professionalism, and distinction in both life and end-of-life planning.

Lunch: Complimentary lunch will be provided for attendees registered for both the morning and afternoon insurance seminars.
