Laurie Rosenblum is a research associate and writer at Education Development Center (EDC). She has worked in the national Suicide Prevention Resource Center for over 10 years. She has more than 30 years of experience developing prevention-oriented products, such as guides, toolkits, articles, website content, and trainings, on numerous public health topics for providers in clinical and community-based settings and for consumers. Ms. Rosenblum holds an MPH in Health Services and Promotion from Boston University. In 2020 she worked with Samaritans, Inc., to produce a major revision of Supporting Survivors of Suicide Loss: A Guide for Funeral Directors.

Kacy Maitland has been practicing in the field of mental health and suicide prevention for over 13 years and is currently the Chief Clinical Officer at Samaritans, Inc. In this role, she oversees all programming including the crisis helpline, grief support services for those who have lost loved ones to suicide and suicide prevention community education and outreach. Kacy is currently developing new programming for both suicide loss and attempt survivors. Kacy is also a consultant to the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention Grant through the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health providing leadership and instruction in content development, policy implementation, and strategic planning to both the private and public sectors. Kacy has practiced as both a trainer and a clinician in a variety of settings and holds several leadership roles in the community.

As Executive Director of the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation, Tony leads the charge to support community-based efforts in Ohio to reduce the stigma of suicide, promote education and awareness about suicide prevention, provide training and development, and increase resources and programs that reduce the risk of lives lost to suicide. Prior to joining the OSPF, Tony served as the Director of Programs and Services for the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities, where he managed Recovery-Oriented Systems of Care, the Statewide Advocacy Network and the Committee to Address Suicide for the organization. He has also served as the Director of State and Local Affairs for Smart Approaches to Marijuana and as legislative director for the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Toledo.
