Riddle Funeral Home is seeking a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer to join our compassionate, family-owned team in the beautiful lakefront community of Vermilion, Ohio.

Position Responsibilities

This is a full-time position involving all aspects of funeral service, including:

Meeting with families to make funeral and cremation arrangements
Embalming and other preparation room responsibilities
Coordinating and directing funerals, memorial services, and visitations
Completing necessary documentation and permits
Assisting with removals and transfers
Providing compassionate, professional service from the initial call through the completion of each family's arrangements

Qualifications

Current Ohio Funeral Director and Embalmer license (or ability to obtain Ohio licensure)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
