We are seeking a self-motivated licensed funeral director/embalmer to help us perform our mission: We provide families with a healing experience through our team of dedicated directors who are committed to providing caring and compassionate service. Duties include performing all aspects of funeral service, including but not limited to, arranging, conducting and supervising funerals, Life Celebrations; arranging and supervising preneed funerals; meeting and greeting the public; transferring remains to the funeral home; embalming, cosmetizing, dressing and casketing remains, completing cremations, (will train if candidate is not already a certified crematory operator), selling funeral merchandise; cleaning and sanitizing funeral home and embalming room; keeping up-to-date inventories on all supplies and merchandise; completing necessary paperwork and reports associated with funerals and funeral business; performing data entry in EDRS and related funeral home management software, performing general maintenance and cleaning in and around the Funeral Home, Life Celebration Center and conducting himself/herself in a professional manner at all times.
