OFDA Hosting Town Hall Meetings to Discuss Proposed FTC Changes
The FTC currently has an open comment period pertaining to modernizing funeral rules; the open comment period closes on Jan. 3, 2023. OFDA’s legal counsel, David Ingram, Esq., has put together the attached summary of issues and rules in which the FTC is seeking. The seven main areas of interest are also outlined below.
OFDA wants to hear your stance on these issues and your current practice! Four town hall meetings have been scheduled to allow our members the opportunity to share.
The virtual town hall meetings will be hosted by OFDA on:
- Tuesday, November 29: 10:00 am and 2:00 pm
- Wednesday, November 30: 9:00 am
- Thursday, December 1: 2:00 pm
