Legislative Reception
We are excited to once again host the OFDA Legislative Reception on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at the Ohio Statehouse, Rotunda, 5:00 - 7:00 PM. This is an excellent opportunity for members to speak with members of the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate to discuss legislation affecting funeral professionals across the state!

Exciting news for 2024! OFDA is offering a guided tour of the Ohio Statehouse prior to the scheduled legislative brief. Attend both events and receive 1 FULL hour of continuing education in Laws & Rules (approved with the State of Ohio Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors). RSVP is required for all areas of attendance.
Full Event Agenda:
- 3:00 PM: OFDA Ohio Statehouse Guided Tour ( 0.50 Hour CE, Laws & Rules)
- Please arrive and meet 10-15 minutes prior to 3:00 PM in the Map Room (right outside the restrooms & museum shop)
- Tour will begin promptly at 3:00 PM
- 4:15 PM: OFDA 2024 Legislative Brief (0.50 Hour CE, Laws & Rules)
- Located in the Thomas Worthington Center/Room (Ground Floor)
- 5:00 PM: OFDA 2024 Legislative Reception
- Located in the Statehouse Rotunda (First Floor)
