Obituary for Larry T. Nafzger

Former manager and funeral director with Schoedinger Funeral Service

Larry T. Nafzger, 79, of Reynoldsburg died Friday, May 6, 2016. He was born March 7, 1937 in Columbus to the late Alva and Martha (Wentz) Nafzger. He was a graduate of West High School, The Ohio State University and Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Larry was a funeral director and manager with Schoedinger Funeral Service for 50 years. He wintered in Ft. Myers, Florida, loved Buckeye Lake and boating. He was a member of the Eagles and the Moose. Larry was a loving, dependable father and a loyal employee. He is preceded in death by his wife Janice. He is survived by children Jonathan and Laurie, grandchildren Bailey Hoover, Kacie and Koen Nafzger and siblings Don Nafzger and Beverly Hayes. Family will receive friends from 4- 8 PM Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. where a funeral service will be held Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 10 AM.
