Cheryll Ann Hopko Maulorico

OFDA received word this afternoon that Cheryll Ann Hopko Maulorico, age 63, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2008 at Parma Hospital. She was owner of Hopko Funeral Home, Parma, Ohio.

Cheryll graduated from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1969. She was one of four female embalmers to receive their license. Cheryll was a member of National Funeral Directors Association, Ohio Funeral Directors Association, Cleveland Embalmers Association, and Cuyahoga Funeral Directors Association.

She was the beloved wife of the late Michael C. Maulorico; cherished daughter of Dorothy A. (nee Janoco) and Charles R. Hopko (both deceased); dear sister of Mary Lou Sarama (Dan) and John C. Hopko (Diane); loving aunt of Dorothy A. Hopko, Charles A. Hopko, Brian C.Sarama, Thomas Maulorico, Michelle Cox and Ben Maulorico III; great aunt of five.

Although flowers are appreciated, those who wish may make memorial donations to St. Columbkille Church 6740 Broadview Road, Parma, Ohio 44134, or St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church Building Fund 8111 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio 44141.

Friends will be received Thursday and Friday August 21 and 22, 2008 from 3:00 8:00 PM at the Hopko Funeral Home, 6020 Broadview Road (South of Snow Road) Parma where services will be held Saturday August 23, 2008 at 10:15AM and at St. Columbkille Church at 11AM. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
