Donald E. Homer

OFDA received word this afternoon that Donald E. Homer, 75, of Kettering died on Saturday May 3, 2008. Mr. Homer was the father of Chris Homer, a funeral director with Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home in Gallipolis.

Donald is survived by his wife of 29 years, Betty J. Windhorst Homer; son, Christopher Homer; daughters, Debbie (Jim) Chapman, Bonnie (Tim) Allen, Donna (Woody) Barlett and Jennifer (Michael) Rison; grandchildren, Jamie (Sam) Barker, Amanda Rison, Nathan Chapman, Nicholas Allen and Andy Allen.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday May 10, 2008 at the Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek. Burial will follow in Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday, May 9 from 5:00-8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton 45420 in memory of Donald.
