Notification of Death - Clarence "Bud" C. Rodenberger

OFDA received word this morning about the death of member Clarence "Bud" C. Rodenberger. Mr. Rodenberger died Saturday, July 23, 2005 at the Lutheran Home in Napoleon at the age of 82.

Mr. Rodenberger was the founding funeral director of the Rodenberger Funeral Homes, Inc., McClure in 1959, Deshler in 1968, and Napoleon in 1999. He previously was a funeral director for the Hanson Funeral Home in Ada and Alger, OH for several years. He was a 55 year member of the National Funeral Director's Association & Ohio Funeral Director's Association.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn of McClure; 2 daughter's, Carol (Burley) Leese of Toledo and Jerrie (Kenneth) Gray of Napoleon; 4 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Friends may call on Wednesday, July 27 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. at Rodenberger Funeral Home in DESHLER and Thursday 10-11 a.m. at Rodenberger Funeral Home in NAPOLEON. Funeral Services will be held at Rodenberger Funeral Home in NAPOLEON at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 28. Graveside military honors will be accorded by the McClure American Legion at the Hockman Cemetery in McClure.
